Facility Management
The KU School of Architecture and Urban Planning offers a graduate certificate in facility management. The program focuses on current and specialized developments in the many areas covered by professional facility managers--from space forecasting, facility assessment and project management to environmental health, disaster preparedness and personnel management. The 15-credit program relies on a core of 1-credit, highly focused workshops to address the specific challenges that are faced on a day-to-day basis by facility managers as well as architects, engineers, interior designers and others who provide facility services and wish to keep abreast of the rapid breakthroughs in this multidisciplinary profession.
