Every classroom comes with a projector, computer which plays DVDs (OS W2K or XP and Office 2003 STD), VCR and laptop connection. The tiered rooms also have microphones and sound systems. In addition, you can reserve the following items:

• Camcorder w/ tripod (you supply tape).
• Audio cassette recorder
• Boom box (plays cassette and CD)
• Conference phone including bridge for up to 19 connections
• Polycom video conferencing unit (IP connection only)
• Electronic whiteboard (training required)
• Flip charts
• Slide projector
• Close caption device

Video Conferencing

We have several video conferencing options including satellite downlink, Polycom video conferencing (over IP) and compressed video. Satellite downlink can occur in Regents Center Rooms 100, 108, 110 and 4. Compressed video can occur in Regents Center Room 4. Polycom video conferencing using IP address can be set up in any room.

Computer labs

Our expandable computer labs can seat from 12 - 90. Each lab includes an instructor station with projector and all computers have Office 2000 and SPSS. For a detailed list of additional software found in each lab, visit our computer lab page.

Additional software can be installed at a fee of $40/hr. You must provide the software and licenses one week in advance, and testing of the install needs to be done by the requesting party prior to your event.
